There are very few places where natural medicine and modern beauty truly meet.

The Melbourne Apothecary, located inside MECCA’s iconic Bourke Street store, is seeking an experienced, dual-qualified Naturopath and AHPRA-registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner to join our team.

We are specifically looking for a practitioner who is qualified and confident across both naturopathy and acupuncture, and can move between these disciplines throughout the day according to the needs of each client and the opportunities within our clinic.

This is a 1–2 day per week paid employment role within a high-visibility team leading a game-changing partnership with MECCA, blending ear seed application, acupuncture, naturopathic care, cosmetic acupuncture, practitioner-dispensed herbal and nutritional medicine from our apothecary, workshop-style client education and sampling, social media and content creation, and express wellness rituals in a luxuriously designed, architecturally stunning setting.

The Melbourne Apothecary introduces thousands of people to natural medicine through our partnership with MECCA. With referrals from MECCA Hosts, Beauty Loop members, in-store activations and customers discovering us organically, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with people from their very first interaction.

Stunning Treatment Spaces

Practise within our architecturally designed treatment rooms, created to bring together luxury, calm and modern apothecary aesthetics in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.

A Clinical + Experiential Mix

You'll confidently move between:

• 24K Gold Ear Seed appointments

• Acupuncture consultations

• Cosmetic Acu-Facial treatments

• Express Naturopathic Consultations

• Personalised herbal and nutritional prescribing through our apothecary

• Practitioner-to-practitioner referrals across our multidisciplinary team

You'll introduce clients to practitioner-only herbal and nutritional medicine where appropriate, helping them continue their care beyond the consultation while introducing them to the wider ecosystem of care available through The Melbourne Apothecary.

Alongside clinical practice, you'll contribute to customer education, workshops, sampling experiences, social media and content creation, becoming one of the visible faces of The Melbourne Apothecary.

Paid Employment Role

This is a paid employment position for 1–2 days per week.

Availability on Fridays and Saturdays is essential, with flexibility to support additional days as required.

Who We’re Looking For

You'll be a great fit if you:

• Are a degree-qualified Naturopath (BHSc or equivalent) and an AHPRA-registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner.

• Are a member of a recognised professional association.

• Are confident operating as an autonomous practitioner.

• Are comfortable moving between acute naturopathic prescribing, acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture and 24K Gold Ear Seed therapy throughout the day.

• Are experienced prescribing liquid herbal medicine and practitioner-only nutritional supplements.

• Have a strong clinical interest in gut health, skin, hormones, nervous system support and preventative healthcare.

• Are confident speaking in front of small groups and on social media.

• Are comfortable educating clients and creating exceptional customer experiences.

• Are warm, collaborative, professional and aligned with our values.

• Enjoy working in a dynamic, high-energy, high-visibility environment and embrace the opportunities it creates for both personal and team growth.

• Bring initiative, adaptability and a willingness to contribute new ideas as The Melbourne Apothecary continues to evolve.
