There are very few places where natural medicine and modern beauty truly meet.

The Melbourne Apothecary, located inside MECCA’s iconic Bourke Street store, is expanding our naturopathic team.

We’re seeking an experienced, degree-qualified Naturopath to step into one of the most exciting natural medicine roles in Australia with us.

This is naturopathy practised in full visibility - inside one of Australia’s most dynamic retail environments - where curiosity meets clinical care, and where a question about skin can become a doorway into whole-person health.

It is a 1-2 day per week paid employment role within a high-visibility team leading a game-changing partnership with MECCA - blending clinical care (skin, gut, stress, sleep, immune, hormone support and more), practitioner-dispensed medicine from our apothecary, workshop style client education and sampling, and express wellness rituals in a luxuriously designed, architecturally stunning setting.

Practice in our luxury treatment room designed to bring calm, beauty and modern apothecary aesthetics to life.

A Clinical + Experiential Mix

You will offer:

• 15 min express, 60 min initial and 30 min return naturopathic consultations

• Sessions that support our entry point pillars - skin, gut, hormones, stress, sleep, immunity and vitality - and lead to whole person care

• Liquid herbal medicine dispensing and practitioner-only supplement prescribing

• Education-led conversations, workshops and activities that empower customers to better understand their bodies and health potential

This is both clinical and experiential.

Some days are grounded in consults, others include Beauty Lab activations, running sampling groups or workshops with customers. Some moments begin on the shop floor with a conversation and evolve into long-term care.

You will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team - alongside Chinese medicine practitioners, breathwork and life coaches - in a clinic-retail hybrid model unlike any other in Australia.

Paid Employment Role

Reliable hourly income + the excitement of working in Australia’s most dynamic beauty environment.
Availability on Tuesdays and Fridays is essential, with ad hoc capacity to cover other days

Professional Development

Access internal training across integrative care, participate in experiential service design and refine client journey conversion skills.

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if:

• You’re a degree-qualified Naturopath (BHSc or equivalent)

• Member of a recognised professional association

• Confident operating as an autonomous practitioner

• Confident speaking in front of a group of up to 20 people in workshop settings

• Comfortable prescribing liquid herbal medicine and practitioner-only supplements

• Experienced and passionate about gut, skin, hormones, nervous system regulation and modern preventative care

• Warm, collaborative, professional and values-aligned

• Excited by a dynamic, high-energy, high-visibility clinic and all the opportunities and potential that brings for personal and team growth.

• Responsive and always willing to try new things

• Have the capacity to be consistently immersed in a growth zone

• Passionate about elevating natural medicine in a contemporary setting

• Comfortable educating clients and delivering exceptional experiences
